Interpretation
The success of large conferences, workshops, high-level meetings or visits by dignitaries depends in great measure on a precise and fluent interpretation, which can only be provided by an experienced interpreter with complete mastery of both languages.
Our interpreters have extensive experience in conference interpretation and escort interpreting inside and outside Ecuador, in events both large and small.
We are fluent and knowledgeable in the languages we use and we always study an event’s terminology and background beforehand.

Conference interpretation (simultaneous or consecutive) for large events, workshops or lectures
Escort interpretation (simultaneous or consecutive) for field visits, travel or business meetings.
Simultaneous interpretation
Simultaneous interpretation is when the interpreters listen to the speaker through headphones and transmit the message in another language in real time,that is simultaneously. Each member of the audience listens to the interpretation through personal receivers. This is the most common type of interpreting. It requires of high levels of concentration and 30 minute shifts taken between interpreters. This method is ideal to have a fluent bilingual or multilingual meeting.

Consecutive interpreting
Consecutive interpreting does not occur in real-time. In this modality the speaker and the interpreter take turns speaking. The interpreter uses the pauses in the speaker’s address to translate what has been said up to that moment. Then, the speaker continues his or her speech until a new pause. This modality does not require special equipment besides a common PA system in case of large venues.
